Terms of Service (TOS) & Refund Policy (UPDATED: August 22, 2024) To users of alsumiyaquran.com & its services:
If you register for online classes at Al Sumiya Quran Institute or enroll your child as a student, you agree to the following Terms of Service (TOS) and Refund Policy:

Free Trial Completion: Upon successful completion of the free trial class(es), you will need to decide whether to continue with classes at Al Sumiya Quran Institute.

Payment Schedule: Once you decide to continue, fees must be paid by the due date. Monthly fees are paid in advance during the last week of each month for the upcoming month. Classes may be paused if the fee is not paid by the due date.

Overdue Payments: Al Sumiya Quran Institute reserves the right to stop classes if payment is overdue by more than 7 days without a valid excuse.

Class Reservation: If you need to temporarily hold the classes but intend to continue with the same teacher and schedule, Al Sumiya Quran Institute will charge the full fee per student to reserve your slot.

Paid Leave: Any leave taken is considered paid, and there is no makeup for those classes if you wish to retain the same schedule and teacher, as the time cannot be allocated to other students. No makeup classes will be provided for leaves exceeding 5 days.

Missed Classes: If the student misses a class due to a problem on their end, makeup classes are not guaranteed. If a student misses a class without prior notice (except in emergencies), the absence will be marked, and no makeup class will be provided.

Class Cancellations: If you need to cancel a class on a given day, you must inform your teacher on Zoom or via email at least 6 hours in advance to qualify for a makeup class.

Extended Absences: Al Sumiya Quran Institute reserves the right to cancel classes if a student remains absent for more than two weeks without prior notice. No refunds will be issued in accordance with our Terms of Service (TOS) and Refund Policy.

Confidentiality: Do not share your contact information, such as phone numbers, email addresses, or credit card details, with any teacher. Al Sumiya Quran Institute is not responsible for any misuse of this information.

Teacher Changes: Al Sumiya Quran Institute reserves the right to change teachers if necessary for quality teaching purposes. In the event of a teacher’s resignation or termination, new Quran teachers will be provided. Students are not permitted to stay in touch with previous teachers.

Fee Adjustments: Al Sumiya Quran Institute will increase the fees for all students annually by approximately 10-12% at the end of the Gregorian calendar year, in accordance with the Terms of Service (TOS).

Payment Discussions: Do not discuss payments or share your contact details with teachers. Al Sumiya Quran Institute will not be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from such discussions.

Fee Variations: The fees charged by Al Sumiya Quran Institute may vary according to the policies in place at the time and the Terms of Service (TOS).

Eid Holidays: Eid holidays are paid leaves for teachers and are included in the monthly fees. There are no makeup classes or refunds for these holidays.

Policy Revisions: Al Sumiya Quran Institute may revise its Terms of Service and conditions at any time. Any updates will be added to our website.
These Terms of Service (TOS) and Refund Policy apply to all students.
